Recently, Dexing Village in Medog County, southwest China's Xizang Autonomous Region, has ushered in the harvest season for white-fleshed loquats. In recent years, it has introduced seven varieties of loquats, cultivating over 57,000 high-quality white-fleshed loquat trees across nearly 5,000 mu (about 3.33km²) of land. Since 2021, Medog County has sold nearly 6,000 jin (3,000 kg) of white-fleshed loquats, generating sales revenue approaching 200,000 yuan.
