"Wispy clouds drape around the mountain's waist, while snow-capped peaks are mirrored in the river valleys." Caimen Village in Zhaxirabdain Town, Mainling County, Nyingchi City, Xizang Autonomous Region, is nestled amidst such breathtaking scenery.

In spring, Caimen Village is a world of peach blossoms, with blooming pink flowers extending invitations to visitors. "It feels likethat I'm stepping into an indescribably beautiful movie scene," said Liang Mengchen, a tourist from Zhuhai, who just shared some casual landscape photos on her social media, immediately garnering numerous likes, with everyone expressing their desire to seize the opportunity and witness the peach blossoms in Nyingchi.

As the number of tourists coming to admire the blossoms increase, Phurbu Tashi, a villager from Caimen Village, has converted six rooms in his home to open the village's first homestay. "During the peak season, I can earn 20,000 yuan in a single month, and last year I made 150,000 yuan," he said. Yangkyi, another villager, works as a waitress at a homestay during her leisure time from farming, now nurtures entrepreneurial dreams after witnessing Phuntsok's success. "With tourists growing every year, and having received systematic training in guest services and room maintenance, I'm confident about running my own homestay," she said.

"A good ecological environment is our village's treasure trove," said Tenzin Yeshe, deputy director of Caimen Village Committee. Throughout its development, Caimen Village has consistently adhered to the principle that "lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets." Through multiple initiatives, villagers have been motivated to actively participate in environmental governance. They have been encouraged to plant cherries around homes to beautify the environment while developing courtyard economies, and introduce fritillaria cultivation to expand agricultural value chains. These measures have achieved a virtuous cycle of "ecological protection - industrial development - livelihood improvement."

"The blooming peach blossoms have brought good fortune to Caimen Village. In 2024, the village's total economic income reached over 6 million yuan, with a per capita disposable income of 38,400 yuan," said Migmar, Party secretary of Caimen Village. By identifying the synergy between ecological resources and specialty industries, highland villages can also shine brightly in rural revitalization.
