The Paeonia ludlowii is endemic to Xizang, which has been classified as a species critically endangered globally and is only found in Mainling and Nyingchi in China's Xizang. On May 28th, the 17th Paeonia Ludlowii and Tibetan Medicine Cultural Tourism Festival kicked off in Mainling City, attracting a large number of residents and tourists to come and admire the flowers.
