Gyaca County in China's Xizang is situated along the Yarlung Zangbo River and boasts a history of walnut cultivation spanning over a millennium. The county is home to 3,657 ancient walnut trees, forming a unique ancient walnut tree cluster on the plateau. As of now, the walnut cultivation scale in Gyaca County has reached 30 km² with over 520,000 walnut trees. During the "14th Five-Year Plan" period, over 100,000 walnut trees has been planted for the local riverfront ecological corridor planting project, achieving a win-win situation in both ecological and economic benefits.
