On the Changtang grassland in Nagqu, Xizang, a series of artificial perches have been set up to attract birds of prey such as peregrine falcons and upland buzzards to rest and nest. Birds of prey are natural predators of grassland rodents, and their survival and reproduction are crucial for maintaining the ecological balance of the grassland. These artificial perches can significantly improve the survival rate of raptor chicks and effectively prevent grassland degradation caused by the overpopulation of rodents.
