In 1992, He Xiuying was photographed during the autumn harvest in the apple orchard at Bayi Farm.

In 2025, He Xiuying was photographed at the entrance of the newly renovated Bayi Community (formerly the site of Bayi Farm).

In 1951, He Chengxi, who was Mongolian and a soldier of the 18th Army of the People's Liberation Army troops, traveled with his comrades from Inner Mongolia through Xinjiang and Sichuan to reach Lhasa. Upon arriving in Lhasa, he formed a "Mongolian-Tibetan Family." In 1958, his eldest daughter, He Xiuying, was born. From 1974, when she started working, until her retirement in 2001, He Xiuying worked at Bayi Farm, witnessing over six decades of development and changes at Bayi Farm and even in the city of Lhasa.
