The greening project of Lhasa's northern and southern mountains, initiated in 2021 and stretching nearly 200 kilometers, aims to complete the greening of 2.0672 million mu (about 1378.13 km²) of land. Recently, when viewed from the Niangre Gully in Lhasa, Xizang, the lush green vegetation of the northern and southern mountains can be seen embracing the urban area of Lhasa, creating a vibrant and green landscape.
