Recently, the research team from the Institute of Botany, the Chinese Academy of Sciences, officially published the discovery of a new orchid species in the genus Gastrodia -- Gastrodia motuoensis -- from Baibung Town, Medog County, in the international journal of plant taxonomy, Phytotaxa.
