Lhasa Unity Park is located at the western foot of the Potala Palace and beneath the Jag Pori Mountain, with a total investment of 128 million yuan (RMB) in the project. By demolishing the uncoordinated buildings, carrying out mountain environment improvement and historical landscape restoration, it has contributed to the protection of the Potala Palace, a world cultural heritage site.
