The story of Tibetan antelope calves crossing the river

Every July, deep within Xizang's Changtang uninhabited area, newly-born Tibetan antelope calves must follow their mothers to cross the river. With over a thousand calves annually failing to navigate the rapids -- leading to separation or drowning -- local authorities have organized multiyear rescue operations downstream to save stranded calves.
