On September 3, in an operating room at Nagqu People's Hospital in Xizang, a unique surgery was carried out efficiently and methodically—the surgeon controlling the robotic system was over 4,000 kilometers away in Dalian. This world's first 5G remote robotic urological surgery performed at an altitude above 4,500 meters was completed by Professor Liu Zhiyu's team, the Liaoning Province’s medical aid team to Xizang, and the Urology Department of Nagqu People's Hospital.
