Zhanang County, Shannan of Xizang, combines technological agriculture with ecological restoration to build "plant factories" on the Gobi Desert, improve desertified land, and develop characteristic industries to boost employment and income. So far, 18,425,333.33 square meters of land have been greened, and 3,661 people have been employed, with a total of 157,700 person-times of employment. It is expected to increase local's income by more than 56.76 million yuan(RMB).
