On Nov. 19, a conference on the outcomes of the Second Tibetan Plateau Scientific Expedition and Research was held in Lhasa, capital of southwest China's Xizang Autonomous Region. It officially released top ten application achievements, including ecological conservation, disaster prevention, resource exploration, carbon accounting, traffic safety, border area development and so on.
