As a research institute for the sub-project of the Second Tibetan Plateau Scientific Expedition and Research, Xizang Autonomous Region Academy of Agriculture and Animal Husbandry has been deeply involved in related scientific initiatives, focusing on high-altitude farmland ecology, crop germplasm resources, biodiversity and forage resources. It has also showcased a series of research achievements such as Medog citron, naked-seed peaches, Zangqing 2000, Zangqing 3000 and so on.
