Recently, the core construction of the world's highest-altitude tower-type solar thermal power station project, located in Amdo County, Xizang, successfully reached the completion milestone for the wall of its heat absorption tower. The tower is equipped with nearly 16,000 heliostats, with a total light-gathering area exceeding 800,000 square meters, and is scheduled to commence operations in October 2026.
