Latest discovery: Tea-drinking habits contribute to Xizang's lowest diabetes prevalence rate in China

On December 5, at the opening ceremony of the "2025 China Pu'er International Coffee Expo" held in Yunnan, Sheng Jun, a scholar from Yunnan Agricultural University, cited the latest research, stating that the prevalence rate of diabetes in China has shown a rapid upward trend over the past two decades, with Xizang having the lowest prevalence rate. This is attributed to Xizang's fermented tea consumption and healthy dietary patterns.
