Lhuntse Port officially began operation on November 13, 2023. Connecting to China's National Highway G219 in the north and Nepal's Mustang County in the south, it has become a crucial link in the "Trans-Himalayan Economic Cooperation Zone" due to its geographical advantage. Over the past two years, the port has handled 65,000 person-times of cross-border travel, with a total cargo value exceeding 400 million yuan and a cargo weight of over 5,300 tons.
