Source:xzxw.com 2025-12-12

In recent years, thanks to continuous ecological improvement, Lhasa and surrounding areas in Xizang have become a wintering home for migratory birds like black-necked cranes. In June this year, the black-necked crane was designated as Lhasa's "City Bird." Statistics show that the number of black-necked cranes wintering in Lhasa has now exceeded 4,000, accounting for roughly 20% of the global population.
