Recently, the People's Hospital of Ngari Prefecture passed the evaluation and was officially designated as a Grade-III Class-A general hospital, marking Xizang's achievement of full coverage of Grade-III Class-A hospitals across the region. Covering an area of 39,000㎡, the hospital has an authorized bed capacity of 210, employs 418 professional and technical personnel, and operates 54 departments.
