Recently, a spring snowfall blanketed the nationally protected heritage site -- the Gyangze Dzongri Ancient Fortress (a site of resistance against British forces) in Gyangze County, Xigaze City, Xizang Autonomous Region -- cloaking it in silver white. The snow-covered fortress, set against the idyllic plateau countryside, painted a picturesque scene.
