A team from China West Normal University captured footage of the endangered Trachypithecus shortridgei in Medog, Xizang—a species previously known only along the Yunnan-Myanmar border. The discovery expands its known distribution range, holds significant scientific value, and underscores Xizang’s improving ecological environment.
