Located in Xigaze, Xizang, an ethnic handicraft institution partnered with the local thangka association, an art academy, and a vocational school to offer training in thangka and other crafts, establishing five skill-based departments. To date, more than 780 trainees have been trained as inheritors, with a job placement rate of 78%. The initiative has also provided employment for 26 people, with an average monthly salary of 5,000 yuan (RMB), achieving both cultural preservation and income growth for local residents.
