In Lhasa lies Pabonka Monastery, an architectural site even older than the Potala Palace. From late March to early April each year, the hillside monastery is surrounded by blooming peach blossoms. The pink-and-white sea of flowers contrasts beautifully with the ochre-red temple walls, drawing numerous citizens and tourists to visit and take photos.
