A cross-border self-driving tour group consisting of nine foreign-plated private vehicles recently set off on a journey through Xizang. In the first quarter of 2026, the number of inbound and outbound foreign travelers passing through Zham Port increased by approximately 86% year-on-year. The notable growth reflects the port’s rising openness to the outside world and its growing role as a key overland hub for South Asia.
