During this year's May Day holiday, multiple ports and border trade points along the China-Nepal border in the Xizang Autonomous Region saw brisk cross-border passenger flows, reflecting a sustained uptick in border trade and exchanges. Over 3,400 passenger trips and more than 500 vehicle crossings were recorded at the Gyirong, Lhari, and Burang ports, among others. Bilateral trade goods include agricultural and livestock products, handicrafts, medicinal herbs, and more.
