Xizang's first and the world's highest-altitude Amdo Tushuo 100MW concentrated solar power (CSP) plant has completed the installation of 15,927 heliostats. With a total investment of approximately 2.037 billion yuan(RMB), the project is expected to generate an average annual output of 255 million kWh, drive an additional income of 118 million yuan for local farmers and herders, and contribute 250 million yuan in tax revenue over its full lifecycle. It is striving to be connected to the grid and begin power generation by October this year.
