In the first quarter of 2026, Xizang's total electricity consumption reached 4.907 billion kilowatt-hours, marking a year-on-year increase of 13.53%, ranking first in China in terms of growth rate. In recent years, Xizang's power sector has accelerated grid construction, fully promoted the implementation of key grid projects, comprehensively enhanced power transmission and security capabilities, and further solidified the foundation of power supply on the plateau.
