The Xizang-themed documentary In Search of King Gesar has been nominated for the 5th Hong Kong Bauhinia International Film Festival. The film focuses on Tsering Gyalpo, a Gesar epic singer in Nagqu who has dedicated decades of his life to preserving and performing the epic — a masterpiece of the Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity. The film brings the thousand-year-old legend of King Gesar to a broader stage of international cultural exchange.
