Since entering full operation on July 1, 2006, the Qinghai-Xizang Railway has transported over 100 million tons of inbound and outbound freight as of April 13, 2026. That's roughly equivalent to delivering 16 cars' worth of supplies to each of Xizang's over 3.7 million residents.
