On June 18, China Huadian Corporation Ltd. (Xizang Company) successfully erected the first turbine of its 440 MW Qonggyai wind power base (Phase I: 150 MW) in Qonggyai County, Shannan, Xizang. The project, contracted by the China Construction Second Engineering Bureau Ltd., has now fully entered the wind turbine installation phase — a milestone that will significantly boost clean energy development on the Qinghai-Xizang Plateau.
