At the end of June 2026, a delegation of ASEAN ambassadors to China visited the Xizang Autonomous Region. They conducted on-site inspections of Xizang's characteristic industries, visited the Yani Wetland and Basum Tso Lake Ecological Reserve, toured UNESCO World Cultural Heritage sites including the Potala Palace and the Jokhang Temple, experienced the magnificent plateau scenery and witnessed Xizang's development achievements.
