On June 17, 2006, Pema Lhamo sat with her 3-year-old daughter Nyima Lhamo, smiling as they looked at the Qinghai-Xizang Railway. Over the past 20 years, Nyima Lhamo's life path has been closely linked to this "Sky Road": at the age of 8, when she suffered a hand fracture, her family took her to Lhasa for medical treatment by train; in 2022, she boarded a train to Jiangsu Province to pursue her studies. Nyima Lhamo says that this railway carries the dreams of the children of the plateau, leading them toward a broader, brighter future.
