The 100th performance of the 14th season of the outdoor live show "Princess Wencheng" was recently staged in Lhasa. Since its premiere in 2013, the production has staged more than 2,400 shows and welcomed over 32 million audience members. Over 95 percent of its cast are local farmers and herdsmen. To date, this performance project has created more than 10,000 jobs and distributed over 600 million yuan (RMB) in wages, emerging as a benchmark project for integrated cultural and tourism development in Xizang.
