The Linzhi Namcha Barwa Highland Sports Half Marathon recently kicked off, with 4,366 runners gathering along the Nyang River course. Nearly 80% of participants came from outside the region. Xizang’s own Sonam Tsering and Tsering Chodron won the men’s and women’s titles, successfully defending their championships and breaking their own course records set last year.
