On July 29, the first plateau variant of China’s C919 aircraft completed its maiden test flight at Shanghai Pudong International Airport, with all scheduled test items successfully carried out. Based on the standard model, the plateau variant features a shortened fuselage and improved system functions to meet the operational requirements of high-altitude regions.
