The 2026 China Xizang Trans-Himalaya International Cycling Race grandly opened on August 1, 2026, in the Potala Palace Square in Lhasa. 18 domestic and international teams, with over 120 athletes, competed side by side. The race features five stages, covering a total distance of 570.68 kilometers, passing through four cities: Linzhi, Lhasa, Shannan, and Xigaze. This is not only a showdown of speed and passion, but also a window through which Xizang engages in dialogue with the world.
