In the Mid-Autumn Festival of 1999, a Tibetan elder said: "If only we could eat Xizang's own mooncakes." This remark started the transformation of dried-yogurt cakes from handmade snacks to standardized products. Today, Fudi Food, the earliest company to achieve industrial mass production, has produced over 100 million such cakes in total, and has boosted the income of more than 2,000 herder households.
