In recent years, with conservation efforts of over 700 rangers and widespread public, the populations of rare wildlife in the Ngari Prefecture have been steadily increasing. The number of golden-haired wild yaks has grown to over 550, Tibetan antelopes have surpassed 139,800, and the snow leopard has reached more than 810. Other wildlife species such as Tibetan wild donkeys, black-necked cranes, brown bears, and Pallas's cats are also thriving and reproducing in this vibrant ecosystem.
