During the 2026 summer travel season, airports across the Xizang Autonomous Region handled a total of 15,000 aircraft takeoffs and landings, a year-on-year increase of 6.8%, passenger throughput reached 1.785 million, up 5.2% by year, cargo and mail throughput amounted to 11,000 tons, and the average daily flight volume remained stable at over 240 takeoffs and landings.
