Recently, 210,000 fry of endemic fish species, including Schizothorax o'connori, Schizothorax nukiangensis, and Schizothorax gongshanensis, were released into the Yuqu River, a tributary of the Nujiang River. This release not only replenishes fish populations but will also effectively improve the ecological environment of plateau waters.
