Tibetan medical purgative therapy was listed as a national-level intangible cultural heritage in 2021 and serves as a health calling card for Sog County. Today, nearly 40% of patients at the Tibetan hospital of Sog County come from outside the region. The "intangible cultural heritage + healthcare + industry" model allows this ancient Tibetan medical practice to protect people's health while becoming a new fulcrum driving county economic development.
