The western regional round of the 2026 Chinese Farmers' Harvest Festival Village Song Contest recently took place in Qianjiang, Chongqing. Two entries from Xizang stood out. "Joyful Harvest Song" from Lhakang Village in Gyaca County, Shannan City, took first prize and moved on to the national finals, while "Joy of the Harvest" from Jarxi Village in Lhasa City won third prize.
