On the 18th, a cross-river bridge in Shannan City, Xizang, achieved full closure. Spanning the Yarlung Zangbo River, the bridge is the first municipal bridge in Shannan to use cantilever cast-in-place beam technology. Once completed, it will become an important transport link between the two banks of the Yarlung Zangbo River, help advance the integrated development of Shannan and Lhasa, and make travel more convenient for people along the route.
