At 20:38 on October 24, power supply was fully restored in the area affected by the magnitude-7.0 earthquake in Baqen County, Nagqu City, southwest China's Xizang Autonomous Region, after power restoration was completed in the last low-voltage power distribution area.

After the earthquake struck, State Grid Xizang Electric Power responded rapidly and urgently deployed manpower and resources to the quake-hit area for emergency rescue and power assurance work. As of October 24, a total of 301 maintenance workers and 39 vehicles have been put into operation, along with 19 medium and low-voltage generator vehicles, 83 sets of emergency equipment and power connection materials. The team has ensured power supply for the on-site headquarters, lighting for resettlement sites, power connection for tents and the restoration of power lines. Following instructions from the on-site headquarters, the team followed the principle of energize a shelter once it is set up, rolling out power connection for tents and prefabricated houses at resettlement sites in tandem.

In the next stage, State Grid Xizang Electric Power will continuously strengthen power guarantee at key locations in the quake-hit area, ensure affected people spend a warm winter, and fully guarantee safe and reliable power supply in the disaster area.
