The 80-megawatt first phase of the Huadian Cuomei Zhegu Wind Power Project in Xizang has recently completed construction and been put into operation with all turbine units. Located in Zhegu Town, Comai County, Xizang, at an average altitude of about 5,150 meters, the project is expected to deliver 181 million kWh of clean electricity annually, save 55,900 tons of standard coal, and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 153,400 tons.
