A ceremony marking the inauguration of the Tibetan Medicine "Mantang" Research Center and the launch of the Compendium of Tibetan Medical Mantang Atlas was recently held in Lhasa. "Man" means medicine, and "Tang" refers to Thangka (traditional Tibetan Buddhist painting). The complete set comprises 80 scrolls, covering fundamental theories, diagnostic and treatment techniques, preventive healthcare, and more, making it a unique visual medical textbook of Tibetan medicine.
