In recent years, Tibet has been fully promoting the balanced development of urban and rural basic education. Since 2011, two-year pre-school bilingual education project in agricultural and pastoral areas, and three-year pre-school bilingual education project in cities and towns have been launched. In addition, high quality education resources are inclined to remote areas. All the above measures significantly improve the basic education conditions of rural and remote areas, and gradually reduce the educational gap between rural and urban areas, different regions, and various schools.
