In recent years, Tibet has been positively promoting the development of Tibetan medicine industry. Taking advantage of the characteristic culture of Tibetan medicine, the Tibetan medicine processing is being developed and the industrial chain is expanding. At present, the Tibetan medicine planting area in Lhasa City has hit 20,000 mu. There are 12 enterprises producing Tibetan medicine with a total asset of 1.2 billion yuan and an annual output value of about 1 billion yuan.
