The export value of local agricultural specialties from southwest China's Xizang Autonomous Region soared 39.7 percent year on year in the first quarter of 2024, local authorities said on Monday.
In recent years, Quxu County has vigorously developed the vegetable planting industry, which has not only broadened the income channels of local people, but also boosted rural revitalization.
In the first two months of 2024, the total value of foreign trade imports and exports in the Xizang autonomous region was nearly 1.75 billion yuan ($243 million), representing a 264 percent increase year-on-year, which is the highest growth rate in the country, as reported by Xizang Daily.
