From 2016 to 2018, with a total investment of 28.692 billion yuan RMB, 2,263 industrial poverty alleviation projects have started construction. At present, 1,493 projects have been completed, driving 210,000 registered poor households out of poverty.

With different resources and various industrial conditions, industrial poverty alleviation projects including featured planting and breeding industry, cultural tourism industry, processing industry, commercial circulation industry, as well as resource development and utilization in all regions in Tibet have developed in varying degrees, gradually realizing the transformation from "blood transfusion" to "hematopoiesis" . The fruitful results of industrial poverty alleviation could not be achieved without the kind care of the CPC central committee and the state council, the support of the whole nation, the strong leadership of the party committee and government of Tibet Autonomous Region, and the joint efforts of cadres and people of all ethnic groups in the region.

Without industrial development, there would be no effective way to get out of poverty. Lacking of industrial support, it was difficult to consolidate the achievements of poverty alleviation. To realize the goal of lifting all people out of poverty by 2020, Tibet should scientifically plan and design poverty alleviation projects basing on local conditions, pay more attention to market rules, enhance the self-development ability of poor areas and poor people, as well as maximize the effectiveness of industrial poverty alleviation, which can stand the test of history and people.

Enabling the poor people to truly participate in and benefit from the development of poverty alleviation industries has been the key to maintain continuous actual effect. The endogenous driving force for the poor people should be stimulated, so as to enhance their ability to sustain development. At the same time, it was necessary to identify the junction point between industrial projects and the income increase, and establish the interest connection mechanism for the poor people to share the dividends of industrial development, enabling the poor people to enjoy the benefits of industrial projects through industrial dividends and employment.

Tibet has been making solid progress in industrial poverty alleviation, creating a happy life for the people with practical actions.
